Hello,
Thanks to everyone who has kept up with my blog these last nine months. Children in general are such blessings and I look forward to seeing our little Brooklyn grow into a wonderful young lady. So here are the details. on August 2nd I started to feel really bad contractions so I knew that the time was near. Brooklyn's due date was estimated at July 28, 2009. So we all see that she wasn't quite ready yet! HA HA
I went to the hospital and surprisingly my friend also went to the hospital that same day. Yes, wow two friends pregnant/ and maybe delivering together!!! I would deliver a girl while she would a boy....After being registered in at Good Sam Hospital I was both nervous and excited. The day had finally come and I would soon see Brooklyn's face. All I could say is Thank you Jesus, thank you for blessing me.
She was born August 3rd, 2009 at 9:35am, weighed 7lbs 7 ounces and was 21 inches long (great long legs for running)! The moment we saw her face, Chris and I were so delighted. Not only was our baby girl precious but Beautiful. The first words that came to my mouth as she came out into the world, was "Babe she is beautiful". Tears formed in my eyes and I couldn't wait to hold her. My mom was there during the delivery and this was an exciting time for her to meet her granddaughter. I was happy the delivery was over, now to spend time with Brooklyn.
I will be updating with stories of how family life is going with us; the sleepless nights, seeing the changes occur in her daily, driving with her in the car, feeding her and even bath time. I can't wait, parenthood here we come!!!
So all in all things are great

Congratulations! She's beautiful!
