It's SUMMERTIME.....

Hey everyone,
I hope you enjoyed your Memorial Day! My days have been very busy and I know you all are wondering, what have I been up to? Well honestly a lot. I thought with being pregnant that I would be a couch potatoe and I am the total opposite.
I have been doing a lot of things in the community, speaking engagements, mentoring and of course enjoying the high school track meets in the Cincinnati area. I love working with kids and it's such a pleasure to see the smiles on their faces, espicially when they hear that I am a GOLD MEDALIST!!!!

I also enjoy doing charity work and giving back to different high school track programs at this time of the year. I am greatful that my sponspor NIKE gives me so much equipment (clothing, shoes, track uniforms)and I am able to recycle them. Every year at the end of my season I will go through my closet and basically clean it out..... I pick a high school girls track program that may be in need of these items and I box everything up and surprise them with the package. The girls always greatly appreciate this and I like doing it for them.

So I have attached a picture of myself and Kertrice (one of my sorority sisters/college friend). She is also pregnant and we are happy to be enjoying this time together. So I will keep you updated, I am on my way to the Regional track meet this weekend for UC Track and Field. Please wish these athletes luck and let's hope to get someone into the National Meet. I have also attached a picture of me as Coach Mary. Please excuse my athletes they are trying to be in style!!! HA HA!!!!
Please enjoy the start of the summer and again Baby Wineberg is very active in the womb. I think she is ready to come out for a peak..... and man her parents are even more ready.

My First Mother's Day as a Mom-To-Be

Hello everyone

I am back again, and blogging about Mother's Day. I hope that all the mother's out there were able to be treated special and that as daughter's.....you are appreciated. I enjoyed my day by attending my nephew's dedication in Centerville, Ohio. Chris, my mom and I were able to meet up with the Gordon's and Wineberg's to show Blake support as he was dedicated with his mom and dad. What a lovely day to do so and he looked so cute!!!

I didn't realize that even though I don't have our child in hand yet......I am still a mother on mother's day! I was excited to get the cards and gifts that I recieved and I look forward to next year. Just the feeling of knowing that this little life inside will soon be able to endure a mother's love. Just as I was fortunate to have, a mother in my life, a friend and a supporter. She has always been honest and loves me with all her heart. I cherish my mom because she is a special figure who taught me the good and bad in life, and of course what type of mother I would like to be.

After the dedication we enjoyed some family time and of course had a good meal. As we headed back to Cincinnati I thought wow, I can't wait for "her", because I have so much love built up already. Baby Wineberg will be the best summer gift that I could recieve. She is a blessing and a motivation for me to be the BEST MOM I CAN BE

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!
