Already 7 months..wow.....

Hello again,

I hope that all of you track fans were able to watch the Penn Relays and Drake Relays this weekend on ESPN2. The competition was great and man I missed beiing out there. My teammmates from Beijing were all there and ran on the 4x4 and of course won!!! YEAH

Well I am now in my 7 month already, wow does the time go quickly, pretty soon she will be here and our lives will never be the same. Chris and I went to the doctor yesterday and everything looks good. Baby Wineberg is growing and very active in the womb. She keeps me up some of the nights due to her kicks and running workouts. So many people have asked her name and we will be giving that info out as soon as she is born.
But you are more than welcome to guess and leave comments about it!

After leaving the doctor I was so excited that I got good news and decided to do a workout. Yes that's right I went out on the track and ran. It felt good to be out there and don't worry I ran slow. So your wondering what I did: 2x100 meter warm up, then 1 lap of jogging, 1 lap of walking, then 4x 200 meters with a walk in between each. After that I did a cool down lap and bam I was done. The workout of an Olympian.....

That's really all that is going on right now, I participated in the March of Dimes on Saturday and it was great to see all the people who came out to support. I Mary Wineberg am a Gold Medalist for babies and I enjoyed educated others that the March of Dimes goal is to have every baby reach the 40 week finish line!

Let's reach it Baby Wineberg

Wow...time does fly

Hey Hey everyone,

Well I can tell you all that pregnancy has been one of the greatest things to happen to me so far. Yes in the beginning I was emotional and my hormones were a crazy wreck. I probably was this girl who was just weird......but thank goodness I am back to normal. All I have now is a little belly and and a protruding belly button ha ha. My husband continues to be a huge supporter and my family has been excited about what is to soon come. I have been blessed to not have any morning sickness since day one! Wow...my doctor has told me that I am lucky for this, most women are extremly sick. I guess I can thank all those years of hard training and being in such great shape. FYI...I know 10 or more women right now who are pregnant and around the same time as me.

I am now in my 6 months (26 weeks), it is a little different stating weeks all the time instead of the months. I am sure though I will get used to it. I have so many thing to tell you about and all the amazing things Baby Wineberg has been up to.

We decided to find out what "baby" would be as soon as we could and yeah.....it's a girl. She will hopefully take after her mother in the sports section ha ha, well I guess she will have good genes from both sides. My husband and I have decided that even though some of her ultrasounds have showed her running in the womb, she can be whatever she wants to be. She doesn't have to be a runner, ha ha but she will defintely grow up around lots of track and field.

She is moving and very active now. I am sometimes startled by her kicks, turns, somesaults and punches. She is doing well growth wise and I look forward to eventually seeing her in a 3D/4D ultrasound. Ok stay tuned don't want to give too much in this blog. Until the next one, may you all take care!

Learning the great news

Hi everyone,

I am so sorry for not starting this blog earlier but we are here now and ready to share our world. Wow finding out that you are going to be a new mom or dad is priceless. I am now 25 weeks along, and I realize that I have a lot to catch you all up on.

Learning about Baby Wineberg was shocking and a blessing in disguise. I had worked so hard to accomplish my dream of attaining a gold medal and I knew that at some point I wanted children. Seeing the positive test and having it verified by the doctor my husband and I were all smiles. At this point nothing could have ruined our day.....we were happy, excited , nervous and most of all thankful.

I didn't know at that point what would be my next step, do I tell all of our family and friends, my mom, his parents? We did tell our parents but we decided to watch and wait things out especially since it was the 1st trimester before telling everyone else.

My husband keep saying...."WERE HAVING A BABY, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT, A BABY!"
